NIFA & CAES Projects
NIFA & CAES at CSU
Since its inception, CSU has contributed to the agricultural landscape of Colorado. In part, this mission has been propelled by generous grants from Federal sources – most notably, the USDA. Thanks to this more than 150 year old partnership, CSU has become an industry leader in agricultural research and innovation. CSU maintains its relationships with these partners to continue its critical research to help farmers in Colorado and across the globe produce better agricultural yields, products, and varieties.
Current and Historical Grants
CSU’s Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) has had a long history of stewarding National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) grants. With these grants, CSU has helped Colorado farmers succeed, while increasing food security throughout the region.
Applying for & Mantaining Grants for Faculty
All of our grants begin with our faculty. From start to finish, it is our dedicated researchers who find research gaps, design experiments, and collect useful data for our agricultural partners to utilize and become more successful with each passing harvest.
