The research will be performed in the Arkansas, Colorado and South Platte River Basins of Colorado.\u00a0 These are semi-arid climate zones with low annual precipitation rates.\u00a0 The research will be performed within irrigated corn fields during the 2021 growing season.\u00a0\u00a0 Installation of the following sensors \u2013 Sentek\u00ae TriSCAN probes (, Acclima\u00ae TDR 315 probes, Campbell Scientific SoilVUE\u00ae probes, Campbell Scientific CS655 probes, Meter Group TEROS 12 sensors and Irrometer Watermark granular matrix tensiometers \u2013 will be installed at three (3) depths (8, 12 and 20 in) at each research locations within close proximity (1-2 m2) of each other.\u00a0 Neutron probe access tubes will be installed nearby as well.\u00a0 Textural classification, available water holding capacity, field capacity, wilting point, organic matter content and bulk density will be determined by laboratory methods.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Project Location<\/h2>\n<h3>Western Colorado Research Center at Grand Valley, South Platte River Basin, Dolores River Basin<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Collaborators<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perry E.
