Mesa Grapes: Table Grapes as an Alternative Crop

In cooperation with Dr. Charlotte Oliver, we are continuing to work on a table grape variety trial planted in spring of 2018. The freeze of October 2020 killed most varieties to the ground. Regrowth was assessed in 2021 and 2022 (report pending on this website). In 2023, Dr. Oliver has been taking data and keeping the vineyard maintained as much as possible. We are planning to replant an entirely new trial and take data on other farms that already have table grapes planted.
