stations

The Western Colorado Research Center (WCRC) consists of the three Western Slope stations, each uniquely equipped to conduct research on distinctively different agricultural systems. The Grand Valley Research Station supports research on sustainable agricultural water use, efficient irrigation practices and technology, integrated cropping systems, and alternative crops and forages. The Orchard Mesa Research Station conducts research on tree fruits, wine grapes, and ornamental horticulture, and is proud to host the Community Alliance for Education and Hunger Relief. Both of these stations are located in western Mesa County in the neighboring vicinity of Grand Junction. The Rogers Mesa Organic Research Station, located near Hotchkiss, focuses predominantly on organic agriculture and conducts research involving tree fruits and table grapes.
