Research Station Assistant Manager Position Announcement

The Assistant Manager will assist the manager in all operations at the San Luis Valley Research Center (SLVRC). Essential responsibilities include: executing and monitoring research projects and agricultural studies; supervision of full time and temporary research technicians and staff including farm labor crews and work assignments; updating and maintaining data records; administering pest controls; and overseeing bulk cropping operations. The position reports to the Station Manager and will serve as the acting Manager of the SLVRC during absence of Manager.
